We collect a small amount of sensitive information to prepare your report. This page explains what we collect, why, how we protect it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Identity and contact details — your name, date of birth, email address, phone number, and current address.
- Social Security Number — used to obtain your credit report and verify your identity.
- Application and payment data — your order number, payment status, and the PayPal transaction reference. We do not receive or store your card number.
- Technical data — IP address, browser type, and basic request logs used for security and fraud prevention.
How we use it
- To obtain your consumer credit report and prepare your pre-loan risk report.
- To confirm your payment and provide status updates through your private link.
- To respond to support requests and prevent fraud or abuse.
Your authorization
We obtain your credit report only after you check the authorization box and submit the application. You can withdraw your request before we prepare the report by contacting us; once a report has been delivered, the service has been performed.
How we share information
We share information only as needed to run the service: with the credit reporting source used to obtain your file, with PayPal to process payment, and with service providers who host or secure our systems. We do not sell your personal information or use it for advertising.
How we protect it
Your SSN is encrypted before it is stored, using AES-256 encryption. Access to full records is limited to authorized staff who need it to prepare your report, and admin activity is logged. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections.
Retention
We keep application and report records for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, and resolve disputes. When records are no longer needed, we delete or de-identify them.
Your choices
You may ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, subject to legal retention requirements. Email support@qiulian.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.
Cookies
We use a small session cookie to keep your checkout secure and remember your application while you complete payment. We do not use advertising cookies.
